National Commemoration 70th Anniversary
Mrs Mumford was 2 yrs old when her father Lou Curnock worked as a wireless operator in the Coastal Wireles Station. She laid a wreath on behalf of all war widows, representing the War Widows’ Guild of Australia, of which she is a member. She also gave an address at the ceremony, speaking as a former resident of Darwin.
